Hi! I'm BANGE YHODHY,

Born and raised in Bafatá, Guinea-Bissau, my heritage ​stems from the Fulani tribe of Gabú. With a Cape ​Verdean passport in hand, I spent over four years in ​São Paulo, Brazil, before settling in Rotterdam, ​Netherlands, which I now call home.

My art explores the intersection of culture, education, ​and social activism, through many forms of visual art.

A lifelong learner, I thrive on pushing boundaries and ​exploring new avenues of artistic expression.

Latinidades Festival in Brasília

The Latinidades Festival is an annual ​meeting dedicated to black culture, ​held in Brasília since 2008.

This event celebrates the International ​Day of Black Latin American and ​Caribbean Women (also known as ​International Afro-American Women's Day ​on July 25th since 1992.

It is considered the biggest festival for ​black women in Latin America. The ​festival aims to promote political and ​cultural debates, create a space for ​women to share their experiences and ​highlight the contributions and challenges ​faced by black women in society.
